Inside Out is a book about the impact of child sexual assault in terms of the many different and potent feelings that children experience. Child sexual assault is a crime of violence and a crime of silence. Silence often surrounds the many thoughts and feelings experienced by children who remain alone in their grief and trapped by offenders. This book seeks to find a way to depict all those feelings and the silence that surrounds them. This picture book has limited words that allows stories to be built from from the gorgeous illustrations throughout the book.
